DIY: Skirt and crop top floral set

After having had this dress since last year and only have worn it once (while in Durban for holidays). I couldn't believe how fast I actually lost the interest in it, especially when I literally went crazy the first saw it.
I then decided to recreate it to a fun yet chic version. The fact that the 'skirt & crop top' sets are on trend right now, I just couldn't let this beautiful dress go to waste. Wanna recreate your old dress? here's a very simple under 30min DIY tutorial

 What You'll need:
  • A Scissor
  • Elastic band
1.Layer the dress down to measure the length and where the waist is.
2.Fold the dress into two parts: the top vs the bottom (skirt)
3.Cut where you have marked the separation part.
4. herm the crop part and put the elastic on the skirt (check youtube for tutorial on putting the elastic, it can be a bit tricky)

Viola...you have a set!
Did you enjoy this quick tutorial?

  2. Just wear tights and boots with skirts! It’s really comfortable. If you live in a very cold climate, you can get wool tights. When my wife lived in Chicago, she had those and it was wonderful! Now that we live in California, she wears thin tights only on a winter night if it’s in the 30′s, which is rare. Thanks.
